We took an excited three-year old to the Al Ain Zoo, spotted among others an Ostrich, white lions, cheetahs and baby turtles. But I was most fascinated with the pink flamingoes. They walked tall with grace and beauty in a small patch of marshy land. The pink and the white of their feathers made a splendid contrast.
