Alserkal Avenue to host Design Miami Fair in 2027
Design Miami, the global platform for extraordinarily collectible design, has partnered with Alserkal Avenue in Dubai to bring the fair’s debut edition to the Middle East in 2027. The collaboration will launch a jointly developed platform in the region for collectible design, featuring a flagship event and year-round programming. In early 2027, through the alliance a like-minded community of designers, collectors and leading creative voices will converge to exchange ideas, foster opportunities for learning and community dialogue.

Anchored in Dubai, the partnership is intended to expand into the wider Middle East pioneering socially responsible and forward-thinking cultural initiatives in the region and beyond. Each Design Miami fair features museum-quality 20th and 21st century furniture, lighting, and objets d’art from the world’s top galleries. The fair also showcases immersive design collaborations with celebrated brands. Founded in 2005, the brand’s flagship Miami Beach fair takes place in December. More recently, Design Miami has expanded its global design forum to incorporate localized event formats, including its Paris fair, hosted in a locally-specific architectural setting each October and Design Miami. In Situ, designed to offer regionalized experiences that celebrate and cultivate local design communities.
