We were lucky to plan and get tickets on time for a five day getaway to  historic  Jordan during eid holidays. It was a whirlwind trip but one loaded with much sightseeing and fun. We started our trip in Amman, the capital of Jordan, then went to see Roman ruins in neighbouring Jerash. The third day we visited the Ash Shawabak castle and magnificent city of Petra, one of the new seven wonders of the world. Finally it was time to revisit some places of Biblical importance including Mt Nebo, where Moses was shown the promised land by God, Jordan river and the spot where Jesus was baptised, then moving on to Dead Sea.  What we saw each day is a full post in itself, but for now a panoramic peep into Jordan through my lens.
