For the first time since signing the Abraham Accord on August 13, 2020, a collaborative artwork by an Israeli and Emirati artists has been unveiled at Hotel Indigo Downtown, Dubai. Aptly titled, ‘Peace of Art’, the canvas weaves together the creative expressions of six artists.

As part of this collaboration, Elior Hazan, a 33-year-old, well-known graffiti Artist from Tel Aviv, became the first Israeli to be part of an art residency at the boutique hotel. Also known as Aladdin, Elior, a multi-disciplinary artist, engages with his audience through live pop art. He incorporated a slice of his travel and visual experiences in the UAE on this canvas. The artwork also features Mediyah Al Maktoum, a young Emirati interior design student and Reem Al Falasi, a self-taught Emirati calligrapher. The other artists who were part of this creative project included Muhanad Al Nassiri, an Iraqi architect, artist and printmaker, now based in the UAE; Chloe Robin (Azaide) a Franco-Algerian-Spanish digital artist and Ramsha Fatima, a Pakistani artist creating sustainable art. From calligraphy to street art the mixed media canvas brings together an eclectic mix of art styles representing each artist and their cultural roots.
